History
Middle East Water & Environment Consulting Engineers was founded in July 2004 by a team of experts with a strong background in water-related studies. The initial projects focused on tailings management in mines. Over the years, the fields of work expanded to include mineral processing, water resources studies, seawater desalination, and civil aviation services. This expansion in activities led to an increase in staff from 15 to over 200, along with a broader range of expertise. Since then, more than 100 projects have been successfully completed. International cooperation with over 30 companies has also been established and expanded throughout the years.

Our Organization
The MEWE organizational chart is simple and project-oriented. The managing board is actively involved in the company’s daily operations. Technical and finance managers serve as deputies to the Managing Director. Project managers play key roles in the company’s execution processes. Quality assurance, quality control, and the implementation of various management systems are carried out by the Management Systems and Quality Control offices, which operate under the supervision of the Managing Director and the Technical Deputy.

MEWE’s success is driven by a strong team of over 200 professionals, including 120 engineers, 35 technicians, 40 administrative staff, and 5 board members. Our personnel operate across central offices in Tehran as well as multiple project construction sites throughout the Country. Each member of our team brings a combination of technical expertise, field experience, and a commitment to excellence. From senior leadership to on-site specialists, MEWE’s people are the foundation of our ability to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions across a wide range of complex projects.
